ELA, English Language Acquisition, classes provide FREE instruction to non-native speaking adults who desire to improve skills in reading, writing, speaking and listening. After completing the evaluation process, ELA students are placed at the appropriate ELA level (beginning, intermediate, or advanced) according to their speaking ability and their performance on the Basic English Skills Test (BEST). Learners must attend 40-80 hours to take the post-test for measuring educational gains.

Classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00.

First Semester Classes: September 3rd, 2024 - January 17th, 2025

Second Semester Classes:  January 27th - May 23rd, 2025
