Larrymore has an outstanding teaching staff that is fully committed to developing their students’ fullest potential.  We continue to maintain our fully accredited status.  There are also many options for our students to reach beyond the Virginia Standards of Learning.

Larrymore Elementary is nestled in northeast Norfolk www.norfolk.va.us . We are near the beautiful Norfolk Botanical Gardens www.nbgs.org , Naval Amphibious Base and the Norfolk Airport. Other major attractions in the Hampton Roads area are within an easy drive. Larrymore serves students from the following neighborhoods in Norfolk: Larrymore Lawns, Pinewood Gardens, Botanical Gardens, Heutte Farms, Tanners Creek and Wedgewood. Our school was built in 1957 and has a rich neighborhood history.
