• Crossroads School

    School Profile

     The original Crossroads Elementary School was constructed in 1946. In August 2012, the new Crossroads School, a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environment Design) facility opened to house grades pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Currently, the school houses a population of approximately 976 students from pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The school’s population includes students who learn within inclusion, self-contained and mainstream settings. Additionally, the “push-in” and “pull-out” methods are implemented to provide differentiated  accommodations for  identified gifted students in grades one through eight, as well as French National students, and English Language Learners.  

    Students who attend Crossroads School live in the neighborhoods of Alden Heights Park, Colonial Heights, South Bayview, Norva Homes, Rosedale, Brentwood, Lincoln Park, Washington Park, Forest Park and Oakdale Farms.
