  • Science and Growing: Soil Horizons

    When studying Earth Science, we make models of natural phenomena to better understand the dynamics involved.  These are photos of students making models of soil profiles.  Before putting the different horizons in the profile (the upside down soda bottle), students labeled each horizon and planted three seeds.  We will be adding to our models as we continue studying about groundwater infiltration and storage.
