Established in 2024, the program's name was designed during a partnership with Norfolk Technical Center students during one of their projects titled “A New Era For The Grandy Village Learning Center NTC Advertising Design II.” Since the program has been established, many community events have been hosted to support families in our division who are experiencing transition on the first and last Thursday of each month. The Family Welcome and Wellness Center that houses the program has been established to provide a safe space for families in all Title I schools to come and gather the resources they need to be successful when aiming to accomplish our district's goals that are centered around attendance, literacy and accountability!
Below is the timeline that displays our partnership with the Norfolk Technical Center students who worked diligently to secure a name for one of our most popular programs!

The Office of Early Learning and Title I would like to give a huge thank you and shout out to the students displayed in the photo above who made this vision possible! Your work is valued and appreciated.
