• Champions is a before and after-school program for children in grades K-6, operating within Lake Taylor School. Champions program offers before care and after school care Monday through Friday, excluding official City of Norfolk holidays, NPS holidays, and specific school closures. 

    Champions offers an excellent solution for busy families: a program that blends fun and learning with the safety and convenience of a high-quality service right at your child’s school. With a range of group and individual activities, Champions helps your child stay engaged and continue growing. From art and dramatic play to math, science, problem-solving, language, motor skills, and more, we provide opportunities for your child to keep learning and developing important life skills—whether school is in session or not.

    Registration is $60 per child or $100 per family. Champions accepts military subsidies and state assistance programs.     SOAR (Schools Out Afternoon Recreation)     Program is provided by Norfolk RPOS and located at Fairlawn Recreation Center for youth in grades K - 8. The program operates from school dismissal until 6:00p.m. Monday through Friday, except official city of Norfolk holidays, official NPS holidays, and certain school closures.  Families that receive assistance are eligible for a discounted rate.  Please use the contact information on the City of Norfolk website if you have questions or need assistance. REGISTRATION IS JULY 17TH, 10 AM AT FAIRLAWN RECREATION CENTER 1014 Kempsville Rd 757-441-5670
