• Learning in an online environment allows for flexibility in our students’ and parents’ daily lives. Norfolk Public Schools and the Virtual Scholars Academy want to ensure we maintain an open line of communication if your child is enrolled in this program. For a successful year in the Virtual Scholars Academy, it will be necessary to maintain a strong partnership with Learning Coaches (parents/guardians), students, teachers, and administrators. This partnership will allow all students to remain successful in an online environment.

Please note: as a student of Norfolk Public Schools and the Virtual Scholars Academy, the policies and procedures outlined in the Norfolk Public Schools Student Code of Conduct still apply.

Below is a glance at the student responsibilities when learning in the Virtual Scholars Academy.
