Dean of Students, Ms. Cotton, holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development/Family Relations with a minor in English from East Carolina University, as well as a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College. She has taught English, Social Studies, and Math at both the middle and high school levels. With seventeen years of service in Norfolk Public Schools, Dean Cotton has taught at Madison Alternative School, Norview Middle School, and is currently the Dean of Students at Azalea Gardens Middle School, overseeing all 7th-grade students and 8th-grade students with last names A-M.
